EdLoop ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting the privacy of students, educators, parents, and all users of our platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the EdLoop application at app.edloop.com.

Account Information

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and role (teacher, student, parent, or administrator). If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google profile name and email address.

Educational Data

Teachers may upload student work (images, documents), assignment details, class rosters, and assessment data. Students may submit practice activity responses. This data is used solely to provide educational analysis and insights.

Usage Data

We collect standard usage data including pages visited, features used, and error reports to improve the platform.

EdLoop uses artificial intelligence (OpenAI, Google Gemini) to analyze student work and generate educational insights. Student work is sent to AI providers solely for analysis purposes. We do not use student data to train AI models. AI providers process data according to their respective data processing agreements.

Educational data is retained for the duration of the school's subscription. Upon request, we will export and/or delete all data associated with a school or user.

EdLoop is used in educational settings where student accounts are created by school administrators or teachers, not directly by children. We rely on school consent for the collection of student information in accordance with COPPA and FERPA.
